Job Opportunity:
We're seeking a skilled and motivated Panel Beater/Body Builder to join our Caloundra workshop team, helping maintain our fleet of buses to the highest standards.
In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for repairing and fabricating bus body components, ensuring our fleet remains in top condition. If you take pride in your trade and enjoy working in a supportive, safety-focused environment, we'd love to hear from you.
You'll be involved in:
1. Repairing and replacing damaged bus panels, frames, and structural components to maintain vehicle integrity.
2. Repairing and fabricating body parts and fittings based on technical drawings and specifications.
3. Repairing and finishing surfaces through welding, grinding, and preparation for painting.
4. Mentor and assist Apprentices and Trade Assistants as required, ensuring they complete all relevant work safely and at the required quality.

The Requirements:
* Certificate III in Automotive Body Repair Technology or other relevant qualification.
* Previous experience in panel/body repairs on heavy vehicles.
* Medium Rigid (MR) licence or higher is preferred but not mandatory.
* Forklift licence is preferred but not mandatory.
* Good understanding of workshop operations is advantageous.
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
