About the Role
As our Cook, you'll play an important role in preparing quality meals and maintaining a safe, clean kitchen environment. Working as part of a supportive team, you'll help ensure residents enjoy nutritious, delicious meals every day.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing and cooking meals in line with menu plans and dietary requirements
* Assisting with food preparation and safe food handling
* Maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment
* Monitoring fridge and freezer temperatures and completing basic records
* Assisting with ordering and stock control
* Working collaboratively with the wider team to deliver a positive dining experience
About You
You're organised, reliable and enjoy working in a role where your work truly matters with ideally at 1 years' experience as a commercial cook as well as
* Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards and kitchen cleaning practices
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* Basic computer skills (Outlook and internet use)
* A national police clearance (or willing to obtain)
* Australian Work Rights (Sponsorship unavailable for this role)
