Job Description:
The Clinical Documentation Specialist will partner with the Clinical Coding team and clinicians to promote patient safety, data integrity, and financial sustainability through continuous clinical documentation improvement and accurate clinical coding.
This position will provide advice and guidance to stakeholders to directly impact and optimize activity-based funding at both the point of care and post-discharge.

Requirements:
1. AO6 requirements
* Diploma in Clinical Coding (or equivalent)
* Bachelor of Health Information Management (or equivalent)
1. PO4 requirements
* Possession of a Bachelor of Health Information Management (or equivalent) from a recognized tertiary institution, providing eligibility for full membership to the Health Information Management Association of Australia.
