Founded by The University of Western Australia and grounded on Noongar Boodjar, we are uniquely placed to celebrate the oldest living cultures in the world by championing rich Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander traditions and contemporary arts practice.We have cultivated decades of cultural growth through commissioning major new works and engaging diverse audiences.The OpportunityWe are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Manager, Philanthropy to lead our philanthropic programs and donor engagement strategies. This leadership role plays a key part in securing the Festival’s contributed income through cultivating strong relationships with donors, trusts and foundations.Working closely with the Head of Development, the role will oversee all aspects of donor engagement, including annual campaigns, events, communications, stewardship, and reporting. You will guide a small team, collaborate across departments, and be an advocate for Perth Festival within the broader community.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement the annual fundraising plan across multiple channels including major gifts, foundations, and campaigns.Lead, mentor and grow the Philanthropy team to meet performance goals and work collaboratively.2. Donor Cultivation & ManagementManage a pipeline of donors and prospects through all stages: research, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.Build and strengthen relationships with key funders and partners.Coordinate high-level engagement involving the Executive and Board.Oversee donation processing, reporting, and CRM accuracy.Lead the planning and execution of fundraising events in partnership with the Events Manager.Monitor budgets and ensure financial targets and timelines are met.Improve and document processes across donor engagement, campaigns, and stewardship.Collaborate with Marketing and Sponsorship teams to create cohesive messaging and materials.Drive innovation in donor experience and fundraising communications.5.
