Associate, Restructuring & Insolvency Lawyer

About the Role
Due to the continued growth of our team, we are seeking a talented and motivated Restructuring & Insolvency Lawyer to join the Corporate Group at Lavan.
As part of one of Western Australia's leading practices, you will have the opportunity to work on complex and high-profile matters, advising a diverse range of clients including lenders, insolvency practitioners, directors, shareholders, and creditors.
You will work alongside five partners within a large, multidisciplinary team comprised of experienced corporate, commercial, banking, and finance lawyers, as well as litigators with specialist knowledge of restructuring and insolvency.
Key Responsibilities
Advise clients on a broad range of restructuring and insolvency matters, including corporate restructurings, voluntary administrations, liquidations, receiverships, and contentious insolvency disputes.
Work on complex and high-profile matters, supporting a diverse client base including lenders, insolvency practitioners, directors, shareholders, and creditors.
Prepare and draft a variety of legal documents such as pleadings, court filings, advice, financial restructuring plans, and Deeds of Company Arrangement.
Collaborate closely with senior practitioners and partners across practice groups to provide clients with integrated legal solutions.
About You
We are seeking a motivated lawyer with a minimum of 4 years' post-qualification experience and a positive, energetic attitude, eager to take on complex and challenging matters within a high-performing team.
Requirements
Demonstrated experience in restructuring and corporate insolvency.
The ability to work in a highly collaborative fast-paced environment.
A commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships and work effectively within a team.
