The opportunity
Our Customer Experience team play a vital role in being the first point of contact for our community. With over 60 different business units across Council, our Customer Experience team are the ones who ensure our community reach the right people to address their needs.
We’re seeking two Customer Experience Officers to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis, based from our Raymond Terrace Administration Building. This role is a good mix of both face-to-face customer service, working at our front counter, as well as working back-of-house in our contact centre, where you’ll answer incoming calls, respond to email enquiries, and our webchat function on our website.
From taking calls on how to register a pet, to bins being missed, development application enquiries, and everything in-between; no two days will be the same!
This is a fast-paced, customer focused role, that would be ideal for anyone with prior call centre experience, or who have worked in a fast-paced, high volume reception area. Whilst we do monitor calls, we don’t work toward hard KPIs – we’re all about providing a positive customer experience for our community without the pressure!
Our core operational hours are from 8:30am – 4:30pm.
* This is a permanent opportunity – working full-time 35 hours / week
* Base Salary Range: $67,627 to $74,612 pa based on 35 hours / week + 12% superannuation + $2,464 retention allowance
* You will be working from PSC Administration Building, Raymond Terrace

* Certificate IV in Administration or demonstrated experience in Customer Service
* Demonstrated experience providing excellence in Customer Service, together with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Computer literate in MS Office Programs
