The Wideland Group is one of the largest and most diverse privately-owned dealership groups in regional Australia with branches throughout New South Wales and Queensland. We employ over 200 people and currently operate over 7 dealerships providing parts and service support for the agricultural, construction, truck, and automotive industries.
We are currently looking to employ a positive, and self-motivated Accounts Receivable Officer, to be based at our head office in Toowoomba. This position will start out as part time for 3 days a week, with the possibility to move into full time in the near future.
The role will be a part of a small busy team to assist in the completion of requirements relating to the accounts receivable management for the business.
Responsibilities
* End to end Accounts Receivable monitoring and management;
* Daily reconciliation of bank accounts and allocation of debtor payments for multiple entities;
* Recovery of outstanding customer debts;
* Daily and weekly reporting of overdue debtors;
* Complete month end closing and reporting processes;
* Handling customer account queries as required;
* Ensure all relationships with internal departments, and customers are maintained.
* Some stock control administrative tasks as required
Qualifications
* A genuine interest in Accounts Receivable
* Experience in the automotive or industrial equipment related industries would be an advantage
* Proficient in MS Office Excel
* High attention to detail and ability to resolve accounts payable related issues
* Self-motivated and the ability to meet tight deadlines
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Logical thinking
* Willingness to be hands on
* A team player with a can-do attitude
