We believe every individual has the right to live with dignity, respect, and security, and we strive to attract and retain top talent who share our philosophy of care.The OpportunityWe are looking for a Food Services Assistant to join our team at Bracken House Dubbo.A great opportunity exists, with availability required on weekends, for someone to join our catering team to ensure the smooth running of food services.
This includes maintaining cleanliness of kitchen areas, assisting with meal preparation and supporting the serving and delivery of meals.We are seeking people to provide a high standard of quality care to facility residents, by providing and maintaining a high standard of food service within the facility.What you will bring to the role:Food handler basic training (Food Authority) or equivalentExperienced in preparation, serving and delivery of fresh mealsExperience in table service and clearing dutiesExperience in working in a fast-paced kitchen and or bulk food preparation - desirableKnowledge and experience in working to the compliance of the Food Safety Standards to HACCP levelExperience in Aged Care desirableCurrent First Aid Certificate desirableExcellent communication skillsTeam player who is highly motivatedAvailability to work various shifts across various daysBenefits and perksCompetitive remuneration including eligibility for not-for-profit salary packaging options for permanent employees (up to $15,900 living expenses and $2,650 entertainment benefits, tax free)Access to a Wellness ProgramEmployee Assistance ProgramSupportive and friendly work environmentWork/life balance and flexible working arrangements availableWorkplace education and support providedOpportunity to make a real difference to your community and the lives of those in needPre-employment screeningThe successful candidate is required to have completed/have a willingness to undertake the following:-Vaccinated in accordance with UPA's Immunisation and Vaccination Policy.
