Join our Construction and Maintenance business unit where we are dedicated to delivering high-quality infrastructure, construction and maintenance services to the City of Swan community. Our work ensures that the facilities, roads and public spaces are safe, functional and well maintained. We are seeking an enthusiastic Support Officer to provide assistance with service and administration tasks on a casual basis to support the wider Operations Division and Construction and Maintenance team.

About the role:

The Support Officer is an integral part of the Construction and Maintenance team and Operations Division and provides a broad range of administrative and operational support. Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

* Delivering a high standard of customer service to internal and external stakeholders
* Assisting with procurement tasks including raising purchase orders and processing invoices
* Providing administrative support in the areas of procurement, recruitment, training and Work, Health and Safety
* Performing data entry, maintaining accurate records and generating reports
* General office duties including filing, doc
* ument preparation and administration tasks
* Assisting with ad hoc duties as required, contributing to the smooth functioning of the business unit and Operations Division team.

The successful candidate will have the following:

* Certificate IV in Business Administration or equivalent work experience
* Well-developed customer service skills
* Professional and can-do attitude
* Organised with good time management skills and a focus on accuracy
* High proficiency in Microsoft Office and general technology
* Ability and willingness to work between the hours of 7am until 4pm when required
* A satisfactory National Police Certificate
* Current 'C' Class Drivers Licence
* Construction Safety Awareness Training (White Card)

The hourly rate for this position will be from $ $44.05, depending on the skills and experience of the successful applicant.
