We are a well-established height safety company based in Sydney’s Southwest, delivering installation, certification, and compliance solutions across commercial, industrial, and construction projects.

With a strong reputation and consistent workflow, we are seeking an experienced Estimator / Sales professional to work closely with the administration and and management and play a key role in driving project wins and business growth.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who understands construction and height safety that can price and confidently convert opportunities into secured projects.

About the Role

You will be responsible for managing the estimating and sales process from enquiry through to project handover, ensuring accurate pricing and building client relationships.

This is a key position where you will become the director’s right-hand person in winning work and growing the business.

Key Responsibilities

* Preparing accurate quotes, tenders, and cost estimates

* Reviewing plans, specifications, and site requirements

* Managing incoming enquiries and converting leads into projects

* Liaising with builders, facility managers, and clients

* Conducting site visits where required to assess scope

* Building and maintaining strong client relationships

* Following up quotes and negotiating to secure work

* Assisting with pricing strategy and business growth

* Supporting smooth handover to the technicians

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring strong industry experience, a commercial mindset, and the ability to confidently manage opportunities from enquiry through to conversion.

You’re someone who understands how projects come together, can interpret plans and scope work accurately, and enjoys the challenge of winning jobs.

You take ownership, follow things through, and don’t let opportunities fall through the cracks.

You will also have:

* A proactive, results-driven approach with a focus on winning work and driving revenue

* Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate and competitive estimates

* Confidence communicating with builders, project managers, and key decision-makers

* The ability to build rapport quickly and maintain long-term client relationships

* Solid time management skills and the ability to handle multiple quotes and deadlines

* A problem-solving mindset with the ability to think commercially, not just technically

* High level of accountability – you own your numbers, pipeline, and outcomes

* Comfortable working in a small team where flexibility and initiative are key

You’re not just pricing jobs you’re helping secure them and contributing directly to the growth of the business.

Essential:

* 3-5+ years’ experience in construction, height safety, roofing, access systems, façade, or similar

* Preferred 3-5 years+ proven experience in estimating and/or sales within construction or similar industry

* Strong ability to read plans and interpret specifications

* Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills

* Results-driven with a focus on winning work

* Highly organised with strong attention to detail

* Ability to work autonomously and take ownership

Highly Regarded:

* Existing industry contacts or client network

* Experience pricing height safety or similar systems

* Background in a small business environment
