In this role, you'll:
* Work as part of a team to deliver Human Factors (HF) system integration across projects and business‐as‐usual activities.
* Identify and develop HF initiatives that support continuous improvement, innovation, and improved safety outcomes.
* Provide HF expertise to strengthen safety culture across the organisation.
* Manage and deliver technical HF leadership across multiple projects and HF reviews.
* Perform HF integration and assurance tasks to support project delivery.
* Identify, monitor, and address Human Factors issues.
* Lead improvements in HF foundations and practices.
* Develop and integrate HF requirements into project and system design processes.
* Prepare HF technical reports and conduct Human Factors analyses.
* Represent the HF team in stakeholder forums, project discussions, and cross‐functional engagements.
* Lead HF processes that support transformational change in a complex environment with diverse stakeholders and competing priorities.
* Manage competing priorities while ensuring HF assurance requirements are met.

About you
* Strong demonstrated ability in applying HF techniques in complex, high‐reliability environments.
* Strong experience in consultation, facilitation and representing Human Factors in a variety of internal and external stakeholder situations.
* Skilled at identifying and addressing Human Factors challenges, managing resistance to change, and integrating contemporary good‐practice approaches to improve system safety.
* Highly skilled at producing HF assurance artefacts and exhibiting knowledge of key design lifecycle HF requirements.
* Ability to translate complex findings into practical design solutions.
* Recognised as an ethical, professional communicator who translates technical information effectively and engages stakeholders through workshops and collaboration.
* Experienced in analysing performance issues, preparing HF technical reports, and contributing to continuous improvement across Transport for NSW. Multi modal transport experience is highly desirable.
* Recognised as being an integral part of an HF team providing support and guidance to fellow team members.
