Sacca's Fine foods are expanding, and we are on the look out for a highly motivated and experienced Fish Filleter.
Sacca's is a fast growing family business and is well known for our fresh produce and great service to the community. We are expanding our business in a full service Café/Restaurant with a full service menu, expresso bar, fresh cakes and donuts.
Multiple opportunities are now available for experienced Fish filleters to join our opening team in our brand new concept in Broadmeadows Shopping Centre. If you want the opportunity to work in a brand new store with brand new equipment then we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Skilfully slicing, filleting, portioning, cleaning, deboning, trimming fresh fish.
- Report to supervisor on any concerns over the quality or yield of produce.
- Assist with Quality Inspection of product and ongoing maintenance of stock rotation.
- Always working to a high standard of Safe Food handling practises.
- Working within a cold temperature environment.
- Maintaining a consistently clean workstation.
- Maintain quality and cleanliness of slicing equipment i.e., Knives kept sharp and clean, tools kept clean and in good condition.
Essential Requirements:
- Must have experience within fish filleting Fresh Food Processing environment.
- Must have experience in a similar role.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy skills.
- Be able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Knowledge of Food Safety and Food Handling Practises is essential.
- Ability to learn a broad range of products quickly.
Position available for an immediate start and to qualify, all applicants MUST:
- Be able to work early morning shifts - with weekend availability
- Flexible and willing to perform a variety of tasks between Technical Slicing and Knife Hand duties.
- Be reliable, hardworking, and self-motivated.
- Be enthusiastic, resilient, and patient to help grow this new team.
- Have flexible hands-on work attitude and a good level of physical fitness.
- Have relevant working rights for a Full-time Permanent position.
