Lifeline Queensland is part of a national network bringing hope to Australians doing it tough. Around 750 lives are lost to suicide every year in Queensland. Through our state‑wide footprint of crisis support training and retail services and the compassionate offer of support we can save lives.
A s a Warehouse Assistant youll be encouraged to grow develop and feel empowered contributing to the meaningful work of Queenslands leading charity retail brand. O ur Distribution Centres across Queensland provide our 120 retail stores with quality donated goods giving pre‑loved items a second life and bringing in profit to support our Crisis Support Line and suicide prevention services.
Your part in our Lifeline team
Working out of our Bundaberg Distribution Centre you will :
* Operate baling machine to support export production and facilitate the storage of goods
* Manually move crates / items to ensure that the process line has a continual supply of stock for production
* Assist with loading and unloading of trucks and containers
* Pack rags to operational standards in preparation for dispatch
* Maintain work stations and storage areas in a clean and tidy manner
* Ensure equipment is maintained in a fully operational condition and report any maintenance or safety issues to relevant supervisor
* Ensure all paperwork relative to your role is recorded accurately and on a daily basis
Important :
The inherent requirements of this role are physically demanding you will need to be physically fit with the capability to complete tasks that require regular lifting standing and walking .

To be successful for this role you will need to the following :
* A vailab ility Monday - Friday 7am - 3pm
* QLD MR (Medium Rigid) drivers licence
* Forklift licence and prior experience working in a Warehouse environment
* P assion for the Lifeline brand and ability to articulate its purpose
* Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team and organisational goals
* P ride in your work and be efficient in meeting deadlines and achieving results
Ownership of work outcomes for self and team
Ability to comply with all safe work practices for procedures and equipment relating to this position
