Employment type: Full time (75 hours per fortnight), Hybrid work arrangements.
Location: Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement modern, secure APIs using RESTful and event-driven patterns, OpenAPI/Swagger, and Azure-native services like API Management, Functions, and Logic Apps.
- Lead integration strategy and cloud migration, modernising legacy systems and promoting reusable, well-documented APIs across domains.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with architects, product managers, and delivery teams to align API solutions with business needs and drive continuous improvement.
- Mentor engineers and champion best practices, contributing to risk assessments, incident response planning, and fostering a high-performance, adaptable team culture.
- Maintain expertise in API technologies, pursue certifications, and identify opportunities for productivity and process enhancements.
Qualifications
- Brings over 8 years of hands-on experience with Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and enterprise-grade API development.
- Strong programming and cloud development background, with expertise in: JavaScript, C#, Python, HTML & CSS, JSON, Power Query; Visual Studio, Azure DevOps; Azure Logic Apps, Functions, API Management, Data Factory, Storage, Key Vault; Power BI, Custom Connectors; Agile, Hybrid, and Scrum; AZ-900, MB-910, MB-280 certifications.
- Holds key Microsoft certifications and a degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Skilled in customising CRM modules, building Power Apps, and developing secure, scalable solutions using Azure services and modern programming languages.
- Deep understanding of cloud architecture, microservices, API security, and DevOps practices using Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong communicator and lifelong learner, always seeking new certifications and ways to improve team performance and technical excellence.
