Applicants who can successfully deliver Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) Chemistry are encouraged to apply, particularly teachers who can extend student learning into authentic real-world contexts.The successful applicant would be given the opportunity to work across Years 7 to 12 and bring their expertise to the Learning Area, applying their knowledge of the Science Courses.
You will ideally be student-focused, highly motivated, and innovative.
You should possess excellent interpersonal skills, be enthusiastic, and be able to work cooperatively in a large collaborative Learning Area team.
Strong classroom management skills, the ability to develop rapport and motivate students, the ability to differentiate curriculum to cater for individual student needs, and to practise a range of high-impact teaching strategies are highly desirable.The ability and initiative to work well with your colleagues as part of a team to develop teaching strategies, resources, and approaches to ensure each student can reach their maximum potential should be addressed in your application.
