Business Analyst, Digital Transformation
Are you an experienced and dynamic Business Analyst with a passion for driving digital transformation? We're seeking a skilled professional to undertake and lead crucial business analysis, delivering innovative Information Communications and Technology (ICT) solutions within a rapidly evolving environment. This pivotal role ensures effective understanding, communication, and translation of requirements between business units and ICT partners, contributing directly to our clients new Digital Domains and Digital Strategy.
What You\'ll Do
- Business Process Analysis: Lead the analysis and documentation of complex business processes, workflows, and requirements, translating diverse business needs into clear, actionable functional requirements.
- Stakeholder Management: Expertly engage with stakeholders at all levels, from end-users to executives, to elicit comprehensive requirements and manage expectations effectively. You\'ll bridge the gap between business needs and technical delivery.
- Requirements Elicitation: Apply advanced techniques, including interviews, workshops, and surveys, to gather and document detailed functional and non-functional requirements.
- Process Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process optimisationand automation, proposing enhancements that drive business efficiency and elevate user experience.
- Testing and Validation: Play a key role in defining testing strategies, writing test cases, overseeing User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and validating solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and quality standards.
- Change Management: Facilitate essential change management activities, including developing user manuals, training materials, and providing hands-on training and support to end-users.
- Project Management Support: Provide significant support to project planning, tracking, and reporting, collaborating closely with project managers to ensure timely delivery and successful project outcomes.
- Communication and Collaboration: Exhibit exceptional verbal and written communication skills for explicit documentation, impactful presentations, and fostering strong cross-functional relationships.
What You\'ll Bring
- Extensive Business Analysis Expertise: Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to negotiate, consult, coordinate, and conceptualise substantial business analysis and solutions within a large, diverse, and complex organisation.
- Superior Written Communication: Demonstrated ability to author comprehensive, clear, concise, and robust documents for both business and technical audiences.
- Expert Analytical & Diagnostic Skills: Apply advanced knowledge in process analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and business systems analysis to identify service improvement opportunities and creative solutions.
- Tender & Contract Evaluation: Extensive experience in the evaluation and assessment of tender and contract documentation, including vendor responses.
- Collaborative Relationship Building: Demonstrated high-level ability to establish and grow collaborative relationships, building trust and providing reliability with staff across various technical disciplines, customers, suppliers, project managers, and stakeholders.
- High-Quality Artefact Production: Extensive experience in preparing high-quality business analysis artefacts, including business requirements, functional requirements, process maps and models, business rules, business cases, options papers, and test scenarios.
- Business Acumen: A deep understanding of business needs, established business processes, and how systems and applications impede or enhance business agility within an enterprise architectural context.
- Leadership Capability: Demonstrated ability to lead small teams of Business Analysts on projects, contribute to team direction, and foster a culture of performance excellence.
