Information Communications Technology Specialist Role
We seek a professional to support two campuses with onsite IT assistance.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide effective, timely first and second-level IT support to staff and students at both campuses.
* Maintain the helpdesk, ensuring prompt attention to support requests.
* Address hardware and software issues in accordance with service standards.
* Collaborate on the implementation of ICT projects and strategy across the campuses.
* Keeper of users updated during request resolution.
* Foster positive relationships with staff and students through approachability, professionalism, and responsiveness.
* Manage workload to ensure timely completion of tasks.
* Support audio-visual systems, phones, bells, and sound equipment throughout the campuses.
* Comply with policies for information security, data retention, WHS, and IT asset management.
* Work closely with other ICT team members, school leaders, and external contractors.
Requirements
* Previous experience in an ICT support role, preferably within education or a related field.
* Ability to multitask while delivering exceptional service.
* Experience supporting audio-visual systems and troubleshooting phones, bells, or sound equipment.
* Strong expertise in end-user hardware (desktops, laptops, printers) and software (operating systems and applications).
* Able to provide clear, patient guidance to staff and students.
* Experience working towards service level agreements (SLAs).
* Effective written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and approachable tone.
* Proactive initiative to enhance IT processes while meeting organisational needs.
* Commitment to adhering to established policies and procedures.
* (Desirable) Previous experience within a school setting and understanding of Christian values, though not essential.
