Bookkeeper
Salary: $80k - $90k + super (FTE, pro-rata for 4 days)
Hours: Part-time - 4 days per week
Location: Hawthorn - On-site

ABOUT THE ROLE:
As the Bookkeeper, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day financial operations of the business. Working closely with the Directors and external accountant, you'll be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and preparing financial records for reporting and compliance. This role offers variety, responsibility, and the chance to be a key contributor to a smooth-running, professional business.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* End-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
* Process payroll and maintain employee records
* Prepare and lodge BAS and other statutory requirements
* Bank and account reconciliations
* Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping systems
* Prepare reports and documentation for external accountant
* Support general office administration where needed

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
* Solid experience in a Bookkeeping
* Strong understanding of AP, AR, payroll, and BAS
* Proficient in accounting software, Xero and ProjectWorks
* Comfortable working independently and managing priorities
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
