Everybody knows a JJ's Truck when they see one. .. our iconic green and gold fleet head out rain or shine for collections in your area.

But did you know we have 23 divisions, 135 sites nationally, employ nearly 3000 people and operate a fleet of over 2300!

We do more than collect the bin from your street, we also convert waste into clean energy, divert food waste from landfill and convert to compost, manufacture customised waste management equipment, asbestos removal, refine and recycle oil, manage and maintain our fleet inhouse and have our own bespoke technology systems.

Our teams include Drivers/Operators, Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Customer Service, Operations, Finance, IT/Digital, Environment, Engineering, Industrial Chemists, Safety, Administration and much more.. .

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Administration / Compliance Administration to provide efficient day-to-day support for our Mackay depot.

We are looking for someone with the ability to learn quickly, demonstrate a willingness to undertake a variety of administration tasks, and have excellent problem solving and time management skills.

JJ's is an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers.

This position is a maternity leave - 12 months - full-time position (Monday to Friday) - 8am to 4pm

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Detail orientated, able to manage and prioritise multiple tasks at once
* Administration of pre-employment medicals, vaccinations and other pre-start requirements
* Compliance administration for 3rd party sites – inductions, training, licences etc
* Data entry, compliance spreadsheets, reporting, employment and onboarding administration documents
* Customer service focus; answering telephones and email enquiries promptly and professionally
* Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence ensuring timely responses, appropriate follow up, escalations and preparing outgoing correspondence as required
* Working closely with Operations, Sales, Administration and Management to ensure the flow of information
* Other duties as requested

ABOUT YOU

* Positive attitude and strong work ethic, with a commitment to achieving customer service of the highest standard
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with various stakeholders
* Detail orientated, able to manage and prioritise multiple tasks at once
* Proficient in office software and administrative systems, with a willingness to learn new tools and processes
* Excellent time management skills
