Key Responsibilities
Preparing and executing high-quality menu items at volume
Maintaining kitchen standards of food safety, hygiene, and presentation
Assisting with stock control, ordering, and waste management
Supporting menu planning and cost control initiatives
Training, mentoring, and supervising junior kitchen staff
Ensuring smooth service during peak trading periods
What We're Looking For
Experience working in high-volume kitchens (pub, bistro, or restaurant experience highly regarded)
Relevant trade qualifications (Cert III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent)
Strong understanding of food safety and HACCP standards
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining consistency
Great communication skills and a team-first attitude
Flexibility to work diverse shifts, including evenings and weekends
Sponsorship may be available for the right candidate providing they successfully past probation. No immediate sponsorship will be offered
