As a key player in our team, you will be responsible for preparing and lodging financial statements and tax returns for various entities.
The Role
This is a full-time position that requires an experienced accountant with public practice experience. You will assist clients with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning, as well as support their growth strategies. Your expertise will also be essential in liaising with the ATO and other regulatory bodies on behalf of clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation and lodgement of financial statements and income tax returns across companies, trusts, partnerships, and sole traders.
* Assisting clients with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning to optimize their financial performance.
* Exposure to complex tax matters including GST, CGT, FBT, and Div7A.
* Supporting clients with process improvements and growth strategies to enhance their business outcomes.
* Liaising with the ATO and other regulatory bodies on behalf of clients to ensure compliance and minimize risks.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in public practice accounting.
CA or CPA commenced or completed.
Proficiency with Xero.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a stable employment history are essential for this role.
