We are seeking a visionary sales professional to scale our operations as we embark on the next exciting phase of our journey. The successful candidate will be responsible for building a robust and high-value pipeline of potential opportunities, winning key deals, and positioning Opportunity Box as the premier choice in the Aerospace and Defence industry.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, ideally in enterprise software or technology consulting. They will have a strong understanding of business and technology transformation, enterprise resource planning, and/or related services. Additionally, they will have availability to travel within Australia as needed.
The sales professional will work closely with Opportunity Box's consulting and delivery teams to ensure a seamless transition from prospect to customer during implementations. They will also develop domain knowledge of IFS enterprise software and its specific applications in the Aerospace and Defence sector, enabling them to speak confidently and credibly with clients.
Key responsibilities include:
* Strategic Pipeline Growth: Build, develop, and manage a pipeline of qualified leads in the Aerospace and Defence sector, ensuring sustained growth in sales.
* Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders in the Australian Aerospace and Defence industry, identifying opportunities to support their operational goals through Opportunity Box solutions.
* Sales Execution: Close high-impact deals, contributing towards the company's revenue targets.
* CRM Management: Make effective use of Salesforce to manage leads, track progress, and optimise the sales process.
* Reporting & Forecasting: Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports to senior management.
* Collaboration: Work closely with Opportunity Box's consulting and delivery teams to ensure a seamless transition from prospect to customer during implementations.
Requirements
* Experience working in, or selling to, the Aerospace and Defence industry.
* Demonstrated track record of success in a sales leadership role, ideally in enterprise software or technology consulting.
* Strong understanding of business and technology transformation, enterprise resource planning, and/or related services.
* Availability to travel within Australia as needed.
