About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Specialist Category Management & Sourcing to lead one or more category portfolios at our Curragh Complex. Reporting to the Superintendent Procurement & Contracts, you will own the full contract lifecycle for your categories, from sourcing strategy through to contract management and close out.
This is a hands on, influential role where you will work closely with operations and stakeholders to drive cost optimisation, supplier performance and continuous improvement.
Your role will include:
* Leading strategic sourcing activities across assigned categories
* Developing and delivering category strategies that create sustainable value
* Managing end to end contract lifecycle activities
* Driving supplier performance through active relationship and KPI management
* Partnering with operational stakeholders to deliver commercial outcomes
* Identifying and implementing process and efficiency improvements
Your work will directly support cost reduction, operational reliability and supplier performance across site.
About You
You are a commercially driven procurement professional who enjoys ownership and accountability. You are comfortable working across multiple stakeholders and are confident managing suppliers and complex contracts.
Key to your success will be your:
* Experience in end to end category management and strategic sourcing
* Strong commercial, negotiation and analytical skills
* Ability to influence stakeholders and manage supplier performance
* Background in resources, mining or heavy industry, or a similar environment
* Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
