We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at Brown and Caldwell. In this role, you will be responsible for electrical design and equipment upgrades in an industrial setting, including medium and high voltage power distribution systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and upgrade electrical equipment, including motor control centers, drives, switchgear, panelboards, substation transformers, and related equipment.
* Create drawings, including one-lines, wiring diagrams, protective relays, breaker control schematic diagrams, and transfer schemes for plant power.
* Work on medium and high voltage power distribution system design projects.
* Mentor junior and midlevel electrical and Instrumentation and Control (I&C) staff.
* Interact with clients and manage electrical and I&C related projects.
Requirements:
* Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field.
* Professional Engineering registration required.
* Minimum 12 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer working for government, municipal, and/or industrial water and wastewater industries preferred.
* Experience in electrical power systems design and specification, including service entrance, feeder and branch circuits, lighting, grounding, power distribution and standby power equipment.
* Experience in power system analysis and modeling software such as SKM and ETAP a plus.
