**Practice Manager**

**Littlehampton Medical Centre is one the largest independently operated GP Centres, located in the heart of the Adelaide Hills. With a vision to deliver clinical excellence to all as we embrace our community as their practice, we are looking to appoint the key role of Practice Manager due to the retirement of a long serving member of our team.**
Providing leadership to the Directors and staff including business planning for development of the Practice this role with have responsibility for the implementation of and oversight of staff management systems and processes; and ensuring that the business Practices are efficient and progressive. Tasked with the responsibility to plan, implement and evaluate strategies that are aimed at achieving key performance targets that reflect the vision and goals of the Business Directors, this role with have the challenge of balancing both operational and strategic needs of the business.
**Key Areas of Responsibility**:
**Business Planning and Development**
- In consultation with the Directors, ensure that strategic and business planning is effectively undertaken, implemented, monitored and reviewed
**Human Resources**
- Development and maintenance of contemporary human resources systems to promote the development of staff and ensure that relevant legislative requirements regarding employment are met
- Lead Doctor recruitment efforts and ongoing introduction of Registrars to the practice
**Quality & Risk Management**
- Ensure that the Practice complies with RACGP Standards for General Practice, and that processes and systems are continually developed
**Information Technology**
- Evaluate and make recommendations to Directors re hardware, software and system requirements with the aim of utilizing technology to assist in delivering patients the best possible patient experience
**Financial Performance**
- Preparation of annual budgets and monitoring of the Practice's performance against the budget.
- Providing periodical reports and analysis of financial performance to Directors
- Ideally suiting an individual with a high level of interpersonal and communication skills, the incumbent will be trusted to work with a high degree of autonomy and self-directedness.
