**The team**
ASIC's Registry Operations team manages over 30 legal registers, including the Companies and Business Names registers, which hold information on millions of Australian businesses. These registers are a key source of information for businesses, industry professionals, government, and the public. The team supports users in registering, updating, or cancelling business details, and provides assistance when needed. The Mailroom supports these operations by managing mail handling and document scanning services.
**The role**
As a **Customer Service Officer**, you will:
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail accurately and on time.
- Deliver professional mailroom services in line with policies and procedures.
- Open, sort, scan, log, and distribute mail to internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Registry and other internal teams as needed.
- Maintain mailroom procedures, guides, digital records, and registers.
- Provide high-quality customer service.
- Contribute to team planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support team goals by taking on additional tasks as required.
- Promote a positive, professional, and safe work environment in line with ASIC's values.
**About you**
- Experience in customer service preferred.
- Experience in following procedures and defined processes accurately and in a timely manner.
- Good organisational skills, attention to detail and enjoy working in a team.
