About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our high-performing HR team on an 8-month maternity leave cover contract.
Based at our Rivervale Head Office, this role is ideal for someone who is systems-oriented and enjoys variety, autonomy, and meaningful impact across the full HR lifecycle.
This position will provide end-to-end HR support across performance, remuneration, learning and development, employee relations, recruitment, and onboarding.
You'll partner with leaders across the business to deliver practical, people-focused solutions that support Zenith's continued growth.
What You Will Do
Coordinate remuneration processes, including market benchmarking, BOOT tests, and the yearly salary review cycle.
Assist with Bonus processes, including eligibility, communication, and payout coordination.
Coordinate the performance review process, including HRIS management, communication, and training managers on the performance review process.
Assist with employee development plans and apprenticeship / traineeship programs.
Oversee and support the Talent Advisor with the end-to-end recruitment of roles, including drafting position descriptions and coordinating employment contracts.
Support hiring managers with job design and attraction strategies.
Provide compliant HR / IR advice across entitlements, policy, performance, and termination matters.
Coordinate any grievance investigations and support managers with performance improvement plans.
What We Need from You
Minimum 5 years' experience as an HR Advisor / Coordinator
Experience in managing HRIS systems (ELMO highly desirable)
Good understanding of the Fair Work Act, NES, and Modern Awards
High attention to detail, and ability to manage shifting priorities
Excellent communication and service-oriented mindset
Experience in the mining, construction, or energy sectors (desirable)
Qualifications
Degree in Human Resource Management
