About the role
SACA is looking for an experienced Physical Performance Lead to join our Cricket team. You will play a key role in the strategic delivery of the world class physical performance of the SACA's Women's program. In addition, the physical performance lead will be responsible for the physical preparation of the Elite Women's State and WBBL Adelaide Strikers team and Cricket Australia athletes based in South Australia.
Key responsibilities:
Lead the strategic delivery of physical preparation for elite women's cricket. Use data-driven systems to monitor workloads, support daily training environments, manage rehabilitation planning, and drive performance insights through technology. Collaborate across coaching and medical teams, oversee nationally contracted players, and guide the development of pathway talent. Provide leadership to the physical performance team and shape the long-term direction of the women's program.
It would also be great if you have:
* Post Graduate degree in Sports Science / strength & conditioning / human movement
* Minimum of 5 years working in elite sport
* Australian Strength & Conditioning Association Professional Level 2 accreditation
* Proven success in leading an elite physical performance program
* Experience in managing elite athlete involved in a number of different programs
* Ability to communicate effectively with players, coaches & staff
* Ability to align player development to the holistic long-term strategy of the SACA and CA
* A valid Working with Children Check or have the ability to obtain one

The SACA is responsible for coordinating international and domestic cricket matches, Premier cricket matches and community carnivals, coaching and development and pathway programs for girls and boys, coaching, umpiring, volunteer development and ground management. It also administers high performance cricket in South Australia, including the SA Men's and Women's Teams and Adelaide Strikers women's and men's teams.
