Key Responsibilities:
* Draft and review contracts ranging from services agreements to employment contracts
* Provide relevant advice to customers and employees where appropriate
* Work closely with business colleagues to provide legal solutions that are business-oriented
* Collaborate with legal colleagues in preparing templates, guides, playbooks, processes and/or manuals
* Be the point of contact for Australian-related matters the company is involved in
* Work across various Australia/New Zealand related projects
Key Requirements:
* Must be geographically based in Australia
* Qualified to practice in Australia
* 3-5 years' experience (in-house experience is not essential); a strong background in cross-border employment law matters is ideal
* Proactive, autonomous, resilient, adaptable, and eager to continually learn and develop professionally
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Fluent in English (other European or Asian languages are a plus)
