Job Title: Asset Performance Manager

Reporting To:Chief Planning & Transformation Officer
We are seeking an experienced Asset Performance Manager to lead our Underground fleet, overseeing the strategy and performance of mobile and light vehicles.
This is a pivotal role that requires strategic thinking and expertise in asset management. As the Asset Performance Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing an innovative asset strategy that ensures our fleet is fit for purpose, reliable, and cost-efficient.
The Key Responsibilities include:
• Developing and implementing high-level asset management strategies to optimise fleet performance and align with business needs.
• Providing strategic leadership to the Assets team, fostering collaboration, development, and a high-performance culture.
• Embedding a Zero Harm culture and ensuring compliance with all legislative and technical standards.
• Overseeing maintenance management systems and reporting to drive data-informed decision-making.
• Partnering with the Commercial team to align asset lifecycle costing with customer pricing and business goals.
• Driving innovation in maintenance strategies and evaluating industry trends to keep Bis at the forefront of asset management.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
* Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred).
* Proven experience in developing and implementing asset and maintenance strategies.
* Leadership experience with multidisciplinary teams.
* Strong knowledge of asset management standards and underground coal legislation.
* Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Proficiency with maintenance management systems, data analytics, and lifecycle planning.
