At Hotel Group is currently seeking an energetic, customer focused and experienced Maintenance Handyperson. Working closely with the Guest Services Managers, housekeeping and reception teams you will be responsible to ensure well maintained rooms and public areas. This role is a minimum 12 month role, applicants must be currently residing in Australia to be considered.
Onsite Requirement
This role is required to live onsite at the Grand Mercure Magnetic Island, reduce rent and salary sacrifice rent will be offered.
Duties and responsibilities:
* Perform day-to-day general maintenance duties within the hotel rooms and public areas
* Respond promptly to maintenance issues and emergency calls
* Maintain all tools, equipment, and working areas in proper condition
* Ensuring our high quality standards are maintained
* Demonstrate exceptional customer service when engaging with Guests
The successful candidate will have:
* An eye for detail Previous maintenance experience, preferably in a hotel
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills
* Ability to work without close supervision and within established timeframes
