About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager - Finance (BYD), this newly created position will play a central role in supporting business performance, reporting and commercial insights that drive outcomes. The role will suite a commercial minded analyst who enjoys working with data modelling and business partnering to deliver insights and drive performance. This position is based in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane.
In this role, you will:
* Design and deliver performance reporting, dashboards, and KPI frameworks in Power BI and Excel
* Ownership of standard management reporting suite across the group (e.g Daily & weekly sales reports and monthly management reports)
* Partner with the business to interpret performance, identify trends and highlight keys risks and opportunities
* Assisting with preparation of budget, forecasting and planning process across the business
* Ad hoc analysis to support business investment and initiatives
* Continuous improvement of the quality, content and timeliness of reporting
* Undertake detailed scenario modelling, using a range of different assumptions to support recommendations
Skills & Experience
Education:
* Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
* CA / CPA qualified or studying towards
Experience:
* 2–5 years of experience in a similar role
* Experience in multi-entity or high-growth environments preferred
Skills & Competencies:
* Advanced excel and financial modelling
* Strong capability in reporting, dashboard and turning data into insights
* PowerBI
