Job Description
* Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional front-desk presence.
* Answer and direct incoming calls and emails promptly and accurately.
* Manage appointment bookings and maintain an up-to-date calendar for staff and clients.
* Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail, including courier services.
* Assist with general administrative duties, such as filing, data entry, and document preparation.
* Ensure the reception area is tidy and well-organised at all times.
* Provide support to other departments as required, including event coordination and scheduling.
* Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Receptionist should have:
* Previous experience in a similar reception or administrative role within any industry.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic IT systems.
* A professional and friendly demeanour with a customer-focused approach.
* Attention to detail and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.
* An understanding of or commitment to working within a not-for-profit or community-focused environment.
