Role Summary
We're seeking a confident and capable Senior HR Advisor ready to take the next step in their career. In this role, you'll partner closely with operational leaders across a fast‑paced, safety‑critical aviation environment, providing practical HR advice, guiding people matters, and leading investigations.
You'll gain exposure to more complex ER/IR work with support from an experienced IR Lead, giving you the chance to strengthen your industrial relations capability and grow your career. * Provide practical, confident HR advice to leaders on performance, conduct, attendance and day‑to‑day people matters.
* Lead and support workplace investigations and grievance processes, ensuring fair, consistent and well‑documented outcomes.
* Coach and guide leaders through people decisions, helping build capability and reinforcing clear ownership of people decisions by leaders.
* Interpret Enterprise Agreements, Modern Awards and the Fair Work Act, and work with Payroll to ensure EA provisions are applied accurately.
* Partner with the IR Lead on case strategy and emerging industrial issues, with support provided for more complex matters.
* Maintain strong HR governance by keeping accurate records and supporting continuous improvement of HR processes.
* Collaborate with H&S, Payroll, Talent Acquisition and Global HR to deliver smooth HR operations and employee lifecycle activities.
Required Qualifications & Experience
* 5+ years HR Advisor / Senior HR Advisor experience in an operational or industrial environment (aviation, mining, construction, resources or similar preferred).
* Solid understanding of the Fair Work Act, NES, Modern Awards and EA application.
* Experience managing people‑related matters such as performance, conduct, grievances and investigations.
* Bachelor's degree in HR, IR, Business, Law or related field (or equivalent experience).
* Comfortable working with HR systems (Workday experience a bonus).

* Ability to read, interpret and apply industrial instruments with support when needed.
