The Queensland Government is currently seeking a skilled Administrative Officer to join the Portfolio Coordination Office in the Games Infrastructure (Venues and Villages) division.
This role will support financial management, procurement, reporting, and project administration to ensure successful delivery of projects.
As a key member of the team, you will contribute to critical thinking, governance, and stakeholder engagement to ensure compliance and quality outcomes.
Main Responsibilities
* Provide financial services including accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and processing of purchase orders and invoices.
* Assist with preparation of financial reports, budget submissions, briefing notes, and correspondence.
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and policies in financial and procurement activities.
* Support project administration and portfolio controls including risk management and program oversight.
* Contribute to strategic advice and submissions to government, including investment proposals and capital appropriations.
