Responsibilities
Lead the way in empowering our Practice Team to support and uplift quality practices and be at the forefront of delivering the National Quality Standards and Early Years Learning Framework with unmatched expertise.
* Analyse Practice data for each centre and present recommendations to State Managers on the Quality Improvement Plan Practice actions for the centre, working together to ensure a coordinated and aligned approach for centres.
* Lead the Practice Partners to ensure the delivery of high quality and consistent Practice across centres, delivered through effective coaching and modelling to build sustainable teaching and learning capability in the centre teams.
* Provide leadership, coaching, and coordination of state practice improvement teams supporting centres to lift practice through the use of Quality Rating Scales, nationally and state accredited Early Learning Frameworks such as the Early Years Learning Framework v2.0 (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS).
* Spend most time in centres to connect with and observe the teaching and learning for ALL children strategies and environments of centre teams, as a means of assuring and validating the centre's self‐assessment.
* Review the outcomes and effectiveness of practice interventions to improve service quality.
* Take an active role in the State and National Leadership Teams – working collaboratively and respectively with peers.
* Recognise and respond to safety issues proactively and support centres to comply with all legislation that applies to children – Child Protection, National Regulations and Workplace Health and safety.

You'll bring to the table
* Minimum 4-year Early Childhood qualification from a recognised university.
* A tested track record of teaching and learning practice uplift delivery.
* Experience in working at a "State" or national level in practice uplift.
* Extensive practice-based early childhood education experience (aged birth to 8 years).
* Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, other State based approved/recognised learning guidelines and the National Quality Standard.
* Experience of leading a team and being a team member.
