We are seeking a seasoned Technology Manager to lead our Melbourne team in delivering high-quality technical solutions and services.
About the Role
This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional to provide strategic support and day-to-day customer service to teams responsible for Television News Gathering and Contribution Technology, IT Service Centre and Engineering Maintenance. As a leader, you will set standards for client delivery, influence office culture through alignment with our values, manage teams and provide regular communications and feedback to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical leadership and expertise to ensure optimal system performance and practical understanding of system maintenance principles.
* Collaborate with peers in Sydney to prioritise projects and activities, gathering feedback and requirements from business stakeholders and ensuring consistency in technology approaches across Melbourne offices.
* Liaise with external stakeholders to build relationships within operations environments and promote our organisation's capabilities.
* Prioritise tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines and deliver outcomes.
* Manage a team of resources to achieve project objectives and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years' experience working in a media-dominant environment with knowledge of major television or radio broadcasting operations.
* A passion for media and technology, with a focus on industry evolution and its impact on broadcasters and audiences.
* Proven leadership skills, providing oversight and management for a team of up to 10 resources.
* Client leadership skills, acting as the face of our organisation in Melbourne and delivering high-quality client service and support.
* Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, with ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
* Prior experience and sound knowledge of radio operations and technology, including systems maintenance and support.
