This pharmacy assistant role offers a unique blend of customer service, stock management, and teamwork. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, maintaining accurate stock levels, and supporting pharmacists in ensuring safe medicine supply.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Provide excellent customer service in a friendly, professional manner
* Serve customers and process transactions accurately at POS
* Put away stock and maintain clean, organised shelves
* Set up and take down catalogues twice per month
* Assist with pharmacy stock control and stock management tasks
* Support invoicing and stock entry (for suitable candidates)
* Assist pharmacists and dispensary team members as required
* Ocasionally deliver medications to customers (driver's licence preferred)
The Ideal Candidate
* 2+ years of pharmacy or retail experience
* Dispensary and Webster packing experience (desirable but not essential)
* S2/S3 training and a current driver's licence (desirable)
* Motivation to meet daily and monthly sales targets
* Ability to use POS and computer systems confidently
* Openness to learning pharmacy software (e.g., MedAdvisor)
