The successful candidate will be heavily involved in works across multiple projects, with the potential for regional work.**In this role you'll be responsible for:*** Ensuring all works are completed to required HSE and quality standards* Excavating and backfilling trenches, manholes and pits for the installation and connection of underground pipes and conduits* Safely operating various handtools, compactors, etc* Working collaboratively and mentoring team members where possible* Assist in preparation of setting up work sites daily* Collaborating with team members and assist with additional labouring duties as required.**How you'll connect to the role:*** Current Drivers Licence and Construction White Card* Knowledge of NBN networks* Previous experience in cable winch operations and basic rod & roping desirable* An understanding of existing network architecture (pits, cables, ducts etc) desirable* Excellent communication skills* Ability to read and interpret plans* Adopting and driving **Fulton Hogan's Living Safely 2.0 Culture.**Apply now to learn more about the applicable hourly rate and allowances.Our Living Safely culture ensures that we care for ourselves, each other and the communities that we work in.We invest in our people's career development and provide pathways in the form of apprenticeships, traineeships, or certificate(s) opportunities.
