Rehabilitation Consultant
The position of Rehabilitation Consultant is a vital role within the occupational rehabilitation sector, requiring professionals with expertise in psychology, social work, or nursing. As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will work closely with clients to develop personalized plans aimed at achieving return to health and return to work outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
* Case management, including caseloads manageable for consultants and support from Rehabilitation Assistants for administrative tasks;
* Applying clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes;
* Developing and implementing injury prevention and workplace education programs with employers and employees;
* Collaborating with injured workers, employers, medical professionals, and allied health professionals;
* Working across various schemes, such as workers' compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veteran's Affairs, and employer-funded injury prevention programs;
* Assisting those with an injury or health condition to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes;
* Completing assessments using clinical skills, including initial, workplace, and vocational assessments to review diagnosis, support treatment plans, address psychosocial barriers to employment, and identify suitable employment opportunities for workers who have sustained workplace injuries or motor vehicle accidents.
Requirements
* Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Health Sciences, Social Work, or Rehabilitation Counselling or Nursing;
* General or Provisional registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency AHPRA as a Psychologist or Nurse, eligibility for Associate or full membership with Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors ASORC, or Registration with AASW;
* Previous experience working in the Occupational Rehabilitation industry would be highly regarded;
* Fabulous communication skills, including getting to know clients and stakeholders;
* Compassion, kindness, and empathy are essential qualities;
* Well-developed time management skills are necessary;
* A current NSW Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance is required.
