About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Leading Hand Gardener to join our Elysian Lawns and Gardens' team in Trinity Beach, Queensland. As the Leading Hand Gardener, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of gardeners and ensuring the execution of high-quality landscaping and gardening services for our clients. This is a full-time position that offers competitive remuneration and the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing company.
What you'll be doing
* Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities of a team of gardeners
* Ensure the efficient and effective delivery of gardening and landscaping services to our clients
* Provide guidance and mentorship to the team, helping to develop their skills and expertise
* Maintain a high level of quality control, ensuring all work meets our company's standards
* Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and deliver exceptional customer service
* Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of our gardening and landscaping processes
* Assist with the planning and execution of larger landscaping projects
What we're looking for
* Proven experience as a Leading Hand Gardener or a similar supervisory role in the Gardening & Landscaping industry
* Strong knowledge of horticulture, plant care, and landscaping techniques
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team and liaise with clients
* A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead by example
* A valid driver's licence
