Responsibilities
Provide anaesthesia services for cardiac and general surgical cases across a diverse caseload including trauma, neuro, vascular, obstetrics and more
Perform and interpret transoesophageal echocardiography (TOE)
Participate in teaching, research, and quality improvement initiatives
Engage in an inclusive on-call roster
Collaborate with a high-performing, research-active and education-focused team
What You'll Need
Fellowship of ANZCA or equivalent (e.g. FANZCA, FRCA, FCAI)
Subspecialty training and experience in cardiac anaesthesia
Proficiency in intraoperative TOE
Recent tertiary hospital experience (desirable)
Specialist registration with AHPRA, or eligible as an IMG under the specialist pathway

Base salary plus allowances and relocation support, PPS incentives
Motor Vehicle Benefit: a fully maintained private-plated motor vehicle (or an equivalent allowance) per annum
CPD Allowance: to support professional development
Relocation Allowance: financial support to assist with relocation expenses
On-Call Allowance: a percentage of base salary for on-call duties
PPS Participation: additional pay structure (subject to PPS Committee approval) or loading in lieu of PPS
