Do you have previous HSE leadership experience in an industrial, logistics, engineering or manufacturing environment?

- Providing expert advice around the selection and specification of personal protective equipment as well as technical work equipment along with developing policy, process, work instructions, risk assessments and all other manner of Safety Management System process required.
- Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations and root cause analysis investigations
- Facilitate all aspects of incident/injury management and return to work
- Provide expert advice on across and within the business
- Championing all aspects of safety within a fast paced, automated logistics environment
- Collaborating with colleagues globally to assess risks, implement controls and develop best practice safety methodologies
- Participation in the establishment, optimisation and development of Safety and Capability processes and methods
- Develop reporting templates for the company and to their end customer on key KPIs and relevant information
- Implement capability frameworks that support the upskilling and development of the on-site team
- Work cohesively with other Production Team Managers to allocate work, review KPI's, monitor reports, and communicate opportunities both on and off shift
About you:
To thrive in this role, you will have demonstrable prior experience in leading workplace health and safety, preferably with a manufacturing/FMCG, Automated Distribution Centre or similar highly automated environment. In addition to your recognised qualification you will have experience of:
- Working as a Return to Work Coordinator
- previous experience across incident/injury management, return to work and WorkCover
The following further qualifications would be highly regarded but are not essential:
- Certificate IV in TAE highly desired
- ICAM/other incident investigation methodology trained
This is a hands-on position that requires an engaged and motivated individual who seeks to build relationships across and within the organisation and to provide guidance, expectations and act as an escalation point within the Service and Customer teams.
