About the role
We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Head chef in managing our kitchen team. This is an above-award salaried position with varying shifts over seven days, depending on the needs of the business. This is a hands-on leadership role, being responsible for all kitchen processes and management.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to
* Controlling and directing the food preparation and any other relative activities
* Creating menus with new or existing culinary creations ensures the variety and quality of the servings
* Plan orders of equipment and ingredients according to identified shortages
* Monitoring kitchen working hours and wages
* Be fully in charge of hiring, managing, and training kitchen staff
* Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Your skills and experience
* Previous experience as Head Chef
* Highly developed communication and leadership skills
* Proven ability in kitchen management
* Up to date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes
* Credentials in health and safety training
