We have got an exciting opportunity for a Level 'B" academic to be part of our team at the College of Health Sciences at our Parramatta campus.
With an expansion of our health management programs on our Parramatta Campus, we are seeking an academic with expertise in teaching health management related units. The College of Health Sciences (CHS) offers health management programs across three campuses in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver high-quality subjects both at postgraduate level.
* Prepare and deliver of teaching and learning tasks (e.g. lectures, workshop and tutorial tasks)
* Design assessment, including the development of rubrics and feedback best practice
* Adopt a scholarly, inspiring approach to teaching and learning, with the applications of digital technologies and strategies in course delivery
* Participate in the supervision of students' capstone research project.
* Work with the Course Coordinator, Dean (Academic) and Deputy Dean (Programs) to continually enhance and deliver world-class degree programs
* Cultivate professional links with other groups and stakeholders within the College and on ECA, and with the industry and the professions.
* Contribute to the engagement of the College with the broader community in line with the CHS's strategic directions.
* Maintain currency in health management disciplines
* Actively participate in the College activities; demonstrate an ability and willingness to take on leadership roles in the College
* Undertake administrative duties as specified by the College and participate in college or ECA committees as required.
* Cooperate with all health and safety policies and procedures of the CHS and take all reasonable care to ensure that your actions or omissions do not impact on the health and safety of yourself or others.
* Participate in continual professional development activities
As the successful candidate you will ideally have:
* A PhD or equivalent qualification in nursing and midwifery, public health, biomedicine and human medicine, health sciences, health management, statistics and epidemiology, education or health-related discipline.
* Experience in flexible and blended course delivery in Health Economics, Health Statistics and Epidemiology, Strategic Planning for Health, Change Management in Healthcare Information Technology Management, and Information System in Healthcare, Leadership, Project Management and Governance in Nursing and Healthcare within a higher education setting, using educational technologies to enhance teaching and learning.
* Demonstrated experience in academic administrative functions associated with the delivery of course /units, including course coordination.
* A high level of interpersonal, written and oral communication
