The Outside Perspective – Seventeen Mile Rocks QLD
The Outside Perspective – a residential building design consultancy focused on thoughtful, client‑centred, and sustainable design solutions.
We are seeking a Permanent Part‑Time Graduate Building Designer, with a clear growth pathway and the potential to progress into a full‑time role as responsibilities and confidence grow.
This role is ideal for a recent graduate or emerging designer who wants hands‑on experience and the opportunity to learn The Outside Perspective's full project staging process, ultimately preparing you to take on projects independently from start to finish.
You will join a small, collaborative team where your growth, creativity, and professional development are genuinely valued.
Responsibilities
* Produce drawings in Revit
* Use Twinmotion for visualisation when helpful (optional but beneficial)
* Conduct and assist with site measures, including documenting existing conditions
* Support all stages of our project workflow as you build confidence in managing full projects
* Need knowledge of materials, sustainability principles, relevant residential codes, and regulations
* Assist with project tracking and task management using our project‑management system in Notion
* Collaborate with consultants, builders, and clients
* Maintain accurate project files and support the senior designer with day‑to‑day tasks
At The Outside Perspective, we believe great design begins with curiosity, collaboration, and genuine care for how people want to live. You will work closely within a small team, where your ideas are valued and your growth is supported.
