Your next opportunity:
As a Boat Operator (Master <45M) at Boral, you will play a crucial role in the protected and efficient transport of materials along the river. Working as part of our Quarries team in Grafton, you will be responsible for operating marine vessels, ensuring compliance with maritime safety regulations, and assisting with general site duties.
Beyond vessel operation, you'll also handle mobile equipment, conduct routine maintenance, and contribute to a safe and productive work environment. This role offers variety, teamwork, and the chance to build a long-term career with an industry leader committed to safety and innovation.
Your day will involve:
Operation of Marine vessels
Operation of mobile Equipment
Basic maintenance and plant housekeeping
Active participation in problem solving and continuous improvement activities
Participation in safety initiatives including pre-starts, toolboxes and incident reporting
What we are looking for:
AMSA Marine Qualifications (Master <45m),
HR truck licence is advantageous but not essential
Quarry experience highly regarded, but not essential
Loader experience preferred, but not essential
Self-motivated with a strong commitment to safety and quality
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team with mínimal supervision
