This is not your typical workshop supervisor role.
You'll step into a well‐established 4WD accessories operation where the opportunity is to take ownership of how the workshop runs — not just manage the team.
With a team of six technicians, your focus will be on workflow, efficiency, and ensuring jobs are completed properly and on time.
You'll be working across a wide range of 4WD builds, including suspension upgrades, bull bars, canopies, dual battery systems, and full vehicle fit‐outs.
What You'll Be Doing
* Plan and allocate daily workshop jobs based on labour hours
* Manage workflow to maximise technician productivity
* Maintain strong quality control across all work
* Ensure parts and stock are organised and ready for jobs
* Provide technical guidance when required
* Liaise with internal teams to align bookings with capacity
* Identify and implement process improvements
What You'll Bring
* Trade qualification in Automotive, Auto Electrical or similar
* Strong mechanical background (4WD experience highly regarded)
* Experience as a Leading Hand, Foreman or Workshop Controller
* Ability to organise workflow and manage competing priorities
* Confident, hands‐on leadership style
* Strong problem‐solving and communication skills
What's on Offer
* ~$90K + Super + bonuses
* Company vehicle for work use (fuel + maintenance included)
* Stable, growing business with long‐term opportunities
* Consistent salary reviews and strong job security
* Supportive team culture with internal progression
This is an opportunity for someone ready to step up and take real ownership of workshop performance, without the pressure of a high‐volume dealership environment.
