A$45.00/hr - A$46.00/hr
Maintenance Fitter
As a key member of the Engineering Team, the Maintenance Fitter will provide hands-on technical support within the Cold End section of our facility, where finished glass containers are inspected for quality. Using advanced sensors, cameras, and image-processing software, defective containers are automatically identified and rejected.
In this day shift role (Monday to Friday), with regular opportunities for overtime, you'll apply your trade skills to support, maintain, and improve highly automated equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities
* Maintain, fault-find, and repair:
* Computerised inspection machines
* Packaging machinery including palletisers
* Power transmission systems
* Pneumatic and hydraulic systems
* Other specialised equipment as directed
* Perform planned job changes and setups
* Identify and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
* Conduct preventive maintenance activities
* Complete project and upgrade work as required
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience fault-finding automated machinery
* Strong mechanical problem-solving ability
* Proven attention to detail and safety
* Ability to adapt and manage changing priorities
* Strong communication skills and a 'can-do' attitude
* Able to work effectively both independently and within a team
