We're currently seeking a Quarry Maintenance Fitter/Welder for a full-time, permanent position near Lithgow in the beautiful Blue Mountains.

We are open to considering candidates who are on shore, hold a Regional Visa and a Mechanical Trade qualification and at least 1 year's experience in Australia's work environment.

What You'll Be Doing
You'll be responsible for keeping both fixed and mobile plant and equipment in top condition.
Your daily tasks will include:
Performing daily inspections and proactive maintenance to prevent breakdowns.
Conducting scheduled and reactive maintenance tasks, including minor fabrication.
Ensuring all equipment operates safely and efficiently.
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe workshop.
Are You the Right Fit?
We're looking for a reliable and proactive tradesperson.
This role is a great fit if you have:
Essential : A Mechanical Trade qualification (fitting, diesel fitting highly regarded) and solid experience with preventative maintenance on both mobile plant (like excavators) and fixed plant (like crushers), along with basic welding skills.
Desirable : Experience in the quarry or mining industry and a welding/boilermaker trade qualification.
